Hit Counter

Online! is a useful script for Pirch that displays the people that are online in your notify list in a convenient window.

About Online!:

People that are in your notify list show up in this convenient window. From here you can send a message to anyone in the list and use the /whois command to find out who they are. The pause button has now been changed to a ping button in version 1.0. The number of people in your list that are online show up in the bottom right of the window.
New with version 1.1 is the Away system.  Just type in your away message and hit the away button.  The button then changes to a "back" button that you hit when you return.  It's that simple.  Your name changes from YourName to YourNameAway when you leave and changes back automatically when you return. This part of the system is written as a separate pil.
Clicking the message button brings up the message window that allows you to send a private message to that person. This part of the script is also written as a separate pil so more than one of these windows may be open at once.

Online! was originally written over winter break after I became extremely bored at home and decided to do something useful. This version is my first 'complete' functioning version and I hope to make many improvements to it eventually. I hope you enjoy it!

Version History
v 1.2 Improved Away system, uses a small file to store variables in case someone gets disconnected their previous away status remains the same
Added status line, universal status line input so other pils can write to status line too (12/25/99)
v 1.1 Added the Away system (7/11/99)
v 1.0 Well it seems to work well so I bumped it up to 1.0
Only change from 0.2a is the pause button is now a ping button (3/30/99)
v 0.2a Finally figured out the string command so that it breaks up the names correctly
Counts number of people in list
Whois and msg support
Still won't work on some servers that don't reply to /ison with the 303 command (1/2/99)
v 0.1a Looked bad, didn't work right, that's enuf bout that (12/24/98)

Get v1.2 now!

Get v1.0 without Away support

Get the older v0.2a

Email me!

At this point I would like to receive an email from anyone who is actually using this script so that I know if anyone is actually using it so that I know if I should continue work on it or not. Thanks!
